Additionally, spring is a great time to aerate your lawn. In order to allow air, water and nutrients to reach your lawns roots, aeration involves perforating the soil with small holes. Especially if you have a compacted space due to high traffic, aeration will help the roots grow deeper and produce a more robust lawn.
